Exhibition 1 Aug - 30 Oct 2024 Filippo Tincolini presents "Out of Scale, Within Scale", a monumental sculpture installation in Capri, courtesy of Liquid Art System. Standing over 4 meters tall, the fluorescent light blue resin astronaut symbolizes humanity's dual nature: exploring the unknown while staying rooted in earthly origins. The piece will be exhibited in the Piazzetta until October 30th, with a complementary exhibition at Liquid Art System’s gallery, featuring additional works from the "Spaceman" series and marble sculptures from "Florerie Soul". Un Corpo di Segni
Exhibition 25 Jul - 6 Oct 2024 Filippo Tincolini ha partecipato con la scultura "Hand of Justice" alla mostra "Un corpo di segni. Simboli, sacralità, conoscenza" (Pisa 25 luglio-6 ottobre 2024) Quest'opera non solo si lega strettamente al tema della mostra, che indaga il corpo umano come veicolo di conoscenza sacra e simbolica attraverso i secoli, ma porta con sé un ulteriore strato di significato grazie alla sua ispirazione al guanto dell'infinito di Thanos, elemento iconico del personaggio Marvel. Il gesto del dito indice sollevato a riecheggiare il "Salvator Mundi" di Leonardo, si carica di potere e fatalità e rappresenta un giudizio universale e definitivo. In questo modo Tincolini, intrecciando sapientemente elementi della cultura pop contemporanea con la tradizione artistica, crea un ponte tra antico e moderno che risuona profondamente all'interno del percorso espositivo.
