Human Connections, the widespread exhibition of the sculptor Filippo Tincolini, will open on Saturday 15 February in Pietrasanta. With the patronage of the Tuscany Region, it is organized by the Municipality of Pietrasanta in collaboration with the Liquid Art System Art Gallery and Treccani Esperienze (see the press release here). Until June 2, some of Tincolini's most representative sculptures will be exhibited in the focal points of Pietrasanta: Piazza Duomo, Piazza Carducci, the Sant'Agostino Complex and along the Marina di Pietrasanta Pier. The exhibition, curated by Alessandro Romanini, will explore the theme of human relationships in dialogue with the urban space and will showcase a total of forty medium and large-sized sculptures created from 2008 to today. The works, with a strong scenic presence, aim to amaze and at the same time make people think, stimulating, through multiple narratives and possible readings, a reflection on the human condition and our contemporaneity. A large space will be dedicated to the Ancient Gods series, which merges the world of classical myths with that of contemporary superheroes, giving life to painted marble sculptures with a high aesthetic, emotional and conceptual impact [...]
